Dr. Ira Handschuh – Founding Board Member

White Plains, NY Cosmetic and General Dentist, Dr. Ira Handschuh is one of the founding board members of the Greater New York Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has a practice in Westchester County, The Dental Design Center, where he is committed to providing all his patients with dentistry in a relaxed, nurturing environment. Early in his career, Dr. Handschuh worked at a private practice in Manhattan until opening The Dental Design Center in White Plains, NY. Dr. Handschuh still sees patients in New York City as an affiliate of the celebrity-based practice of Dr. Marc Lowenberg and Dr. Gregg Lituchy. Working one-on-one with his patients, Dr. Handschuh feels it is very important to give each patient adequate time for their appointments. He never wants them to feel rushed during the planning process or juggled between patients on the procedure day. He is highly skilled in performing cosmetic dentistry treatments, such as porcelain veneers, dental implants, teeth whitening, bonding, and cosmetic contouring.

Dr. Handschuh graduated from Binghamton University with an undergraduate in biology. He continued his education at the New York University College of Dentistry, where his earned is Doctor Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Handschuh completed his residency at the NYC Mt. Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Handschuh is a proud member of a multitude of study clubs and takes continuous advanced study programs to continue to improve his knowledge. He is also a member of the following:
