Dr. Raj Upadya – Inaugural Board Member

Florham Park, NJ General Dentist Dr. Raj Upadya uses his private practice, Esthetic Dental Care, to provide children and adults with preventative, cosmetic ,and restorative dentistry. He serves as an inaugural board member of the GNYACD and senior faculty at the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, FL. Dr. Updaya lectures and provides hands-on instruction nationally and internationally on the "Concept of Complete Dentistry." He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and continues to learn through advanced education in programs like the University of California Los Angeles Aesthetic Continuum to receive a certification in esthetic dentistry. He was also one of the first dentists in the Florham Park, NJ area to be credentialed by the New Jersey Board of Dentistry to administer BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal filler injections.

Dr. Upadya has dedicated skills in preventative (maintenance and diagnostic dental care), cosmetic (teeth whitening, veneers, bonding and contouring), and restorative (crowns, bridges, and implant-supported dentures) dentistry. He is also a preferred Invisalign® Provider. Dr. Upadya is certified to inject Restylane®, and Juvéderm® for cosmetic purposes and BOTOX for headaches and trigger point therapy for the facial area.

Dr. Upadya graduated from the private Hun School of Princeton and Rutgers University. He then went to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He went on to finish a general practice residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ and became their chief resident in the Department of Dentistry.
